Stopped by Stone Tavern after work and had an absolutely amazing experience. The food was excellent, and the drinks were exceptional—perfect way to unwind after a long day. A special shoutout to bartender Ernesto, who was incredibly experienced and crafted our drinks perfectly. His service really elevated the whole experience. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid spot to relax and enjoy a great meal and drinks.
Our server/bar tender Steve was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the menu. His recommendations were on point and always made sure we felt like a priority. I highly recommend the Philly Steak Sandwich. Plenty of TVs around the bar make it comfortable viewing for Sports, while the restaurant has a more upscale feel to it. Prices are reasonable in terms of both food and drinks. They even have a happy hour from 3pm - 6pm midweek.
Staff was so friendly, we had a party of 13 and it was great! The nachos were amazing, kids loved the ribs. Even a half rack was still plenty for all of them to share. If you like old fashions, you have to try the ginger smoked old fashion her it was lip smacking good. The cowboy ribeye was well worth the price had enough to share a bite with my kids. Now let's talk about how well this waitress did with all these kids, kept all the drinks full and got our orders correct. On top of that she round up some other servers to make my son's birthday a little extra. We will absolutely be back, need to try that bees knees. Thanks for the great experience and the delicious food!
Great spot. Food is fantastic, they have everything you could want. Service is amazing. Bartenders are awesome especially Steven…super cool guy and knows his stuff. Makes an effort to show customers are cared about. He truly is your friend no matter who you are when you come to stone!
Satisfying meal and cocktails at this spacious restaurant right on Route 22. They just opened, so you can feel them getting the rhythm down, but there were plenty of families (including a birthday party) and a packed bar on a Monday night. The menu was fairly standard with some upscale options at the steak level, and the family enjoyed their pasta dishes. The service was welcoming and kind. Nice big windows. Large TVs around on mute (thankfully), playing sports (go Yankees!) and Fox News. Easy to lose yourself in conversation. Echoes of Jersey diners mixed with pizzerias and bar and grille. Fairly affordable food prices.
Food was great. The place smells great and the service was good. I got the burger and my wife got the Caesar Salad with shrimp. Also we got mozzarella sticks those were hot and good too. I couldn’t help myself and also got potato skins. They were good more like full potato’s so they had to come home with me so I could save room for dessert. Finished off this meal with coconut cake which was delicious.
Whenever you visit, ask for Gabriella! Attentive and recommended solid dishes. Big pours of Blanton's and wood-fired lamb chops FTW.
Hosted an after party event at Stone Tavern Bridgewater last night for approximately 40 people, and I am delighted to share it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! The owner, Steve was so accommodating and gracious as we worked in advance to coordinate an event that was economical for each attendee, which included appetizers, salad, a buffet for entrees and dessert. (He even gave me the green light to bring in our own celebratory sheet cake). Soft drinks, coffee and tea were all included and for ease, gratuity was all rolled into the price per person. We elected to have a cash bar, which was also welcomed by the wide variety of guests in our group. The food was delicious and portions were generous. (Calamari, mozzarella and tomato, stuffed mushrooms, Caesar salad, penne vodka, chicken francese, sautéed mixed vegetables and eggplant rollatini). Special accommodations were made for three much younger guests in terms of price as well as bringing out more kid friendly food options on the spot for them (pizza, chicken tenders and fries). Our wait staff was wonderful! So friendly and gracious and attentive the entire time. As a matter-of-fact, EVERY single individual that we came across working at the restaurant last night was amazing, friendly and helpful from the hostesses, the manager, bartenders, and all the wait staff, including those not assigned to our party. Everyone at the event had a wonderful time celebrating together and I am so grateful to Steve and his entire team for everything they did to make it happen for us! We will be back!!!
Atmosphere is relaxing and quite beautiful. Comfortable seating spacious booths with awesome lighting it definitely sets a good vibe. Lots of TVs great bar awesome wine and beer selection. Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.. Staff were kind, courteous and helpful. We loved our server Eddy M. He was fantastic very upbeat, happy and funny. We will definitely be returning.
We stopped by Stone Tavern Saturday night completely by "accident". We headed out to another local restaurant on Rt202 after calling ahead. We were told to go ahead and come out, then when we arrived, we were turned away. So, we decided to hit Rt22, figuring we'd have to find something. And there it was... STONE TAVERN. They've taken over the location of the old Hollihands. In any event, we were welcomed and seated almost immediately. The menu is more than plentiful and we quickly noticed that their prices were more than fair, especially for 2026. Our waitress and the runners were spot on. My wife started off with a glass of Kendall Jackson Chard, I had ice water. Our appetizers were the garlic clams, a full dozen slightly smaller than little necks (they might be middle necks), in a perfect garlic clam broth, and their jumbo shrimp cocktail. Five perfectly steamed and chilled shrimp with a nice cocktail sauce. I asked for extra horseradish, which arrived with the cocktail. My entrée was the shrimp scampi over linguine. Once again, the shrimp were perfect. The scampi sauce was also perfect, with the linguine resting on top, just waiting to be twirled in it. My wife had the scallops with a baked sweet potato. The scallops were golden brown and the sweet potato tasted like it was specially grown just for this restaurant. We shared a piece of chocolate cake that was sofa king decadent that it should be against the law. Their coffee was the perfect ending for a perfect dining experience. Not only are we going to be back, my wife has already been back for lunch with one of her friends.
